With signs that even the mildest predictions of a somehow ‘worsening’ global climate, whatever that really means when you consider the requirements of 8 billion odd humans, plus their ancestors, all in wildly different circumstances across millions of square kilometres of different conditions, are not eventuating, it is becoming harder for even the hardest core of alarmists to deny the poorest among us the right to choose to use whatever damn energy source they like, especially those sources that have underpinned essentially all modern wealth and power.
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer until most people realise that this all means that fossil fuels, and nuclear, should be fully accessed as the world focuses on pulling the billions still in poverty up to higher standards of living.
Indeed, having any other priority, especially one as flakey and useles as attempting to control the planet’s climate via one insignificant variable, is an extreme act of immorality.
